NECO RELEASES 2026 SSCE INTERNAL RESULTS: 58.67% SCORE FIVE CREDITS IN ENGLISH AND MATHS AS EXAM MALPRACTICE DROPS BY 64%

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially released the results of the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for school-based candidates, exactly 63 days after the final paper. Registrar Prof. Dantani Wushishi announced in Minna that out of 1,371,992 candidates who sat for the examination, 58.67 per cent achieved five credits and above including English Language and Mathematics. Notably, heightened monitoring led to a drastic 64.74 per cent decline in examination malpractice cases compared to the previous year.
