Kwara Protesters Give Govt 72 Hours to Rescue Kidnap Victims
Protesters in Kwara State have called on the government to take immediate action to rescue victims of recent abductions, giving authorities a 72-hour ultimatum to respond to their demands.
The demonstrators expressed frustration over rising insecurity in parts of the state, urging swift intervention by security agencies to secure the release of those still in captivity.
They warned that failure to act within the given timeframe could lead to further public demonstrations and intensified pressure on authorities.
The protest reflects growing concerns among residents over recurring kidnapping incidents and the perceived slow response of security operatives in affected areas.
Authorities are yet to issue an official response to the protesters’ demands.
