Uche Nnaji Celebrates Enugu Children, Reaffirms Commitment to Education and Child Welfare
Chief Geoffrey Uche Nnaji, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Enugu State, has extended warm greetings to children across the state as Nigerians commemorate the 2026 Children’s Day celebration.
In a goodwill message released through the Lion Building Media Team for Nwakabie, Nnaji described children as the foundation of society and the hope of a better future, stressing the need for deliberate investment in their growth, education, and wellbeing.
“Every child represents a new chapter of hope, a blank canvas of endless possibilities, and the very foundation of our future,” the statement read.
The PDP flag bearer noted that the true measure of any society lies in how well it protects, nurtures, and empowers its younger generation.
According to him, his vision for Enugu State includes building an environment where quality education is accessible, healthcare services are strengthened, and children can pursue their dreams in safety and dignity.
Nnaji further called on parents, leaders, institutions, and stakeholders to continue prioritizing policies and actions that guarantee peace, prosperity, and opportunities for every child.
He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote child welfare, youth development, and educational advancement across Enugu State.
The message concluded with warm wishes to children and families celebrating the occasion.
“Happy Children’s Day to all our amazing kids,” he stated.
