Uche Nnaji Advocates Youth Empowerment, Peaceful Politics and Rule of Law in Enugu

Uche Nnaji: Empowering Enugu Youths, Not Weaponising Them

Uche Nnaji believes that the future of Enugu State lies in empowering its young people with meaningful opportunities, decent employment, skills, and access to legitimate avenues for economic advancement—not exposing them to political violence, thuggery, or criminality.

As a law-abiding citizen, he believes firmly in due process, justice, and the rule of law. He will not encourage political retaliation, nor will he mobilise thugs against opponents or supporters of any political party.

Wherever acts of violence or political attacks occur, the appropriate response is to report them to the relevant security agencies and allow the law to take its course. Those found culpable should face due process and, where appropriate, prosecution.

That is responsible leadership. That is how thuggery should be confronted—not by creating more thugs, but by strengthening the institutions of law and order.

It is dangerous and unacceptable to deliberately turn young people against one another simply for political power. Our youths deserve opportunities, education, employment, dignity, and a future they can believe in.

If we genuinely desire a better Enugu State, we must collectively reject political violence, intimidation, thuggery, and every form of electoral misconduct.

We must choose peace.

We must choose democracy.

We must choose the rule of law.

As an onye Enugu, your responsibility in this election is simple:

On 6 February, come out peacefully and exercise your democratic right. Cast your vote for Uche Nnaji under the PDP umbrella symbol. 🗳️☂️

Do not fight anyone.

Do not allow yourself to be provoked.

Do not put your life at risk for politics.

Cast your vote, remain peaceful, allow the votes to be counted and the result duly declared, and return home safely.

The mandate belongs to the people.

Let us protect that mandate through lawful and constitutional means.

Together, we can build an Enugu where politics is about ideas, leadership, development, opportunity, and service—not violence.

Peaceful Election. Lawful Action. Empowered Youths. A Better Enugu.
