Tinubu Records Massive Victory in Imo as APC Presidential Primaries Continue Across States
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election conducted across the 305 INEC wards in the 27 local government areas of Imo State.
The results were announced at the Imo International Conference Centre by the State Collation Officer and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma.
According to the official figures released, Tinubu secured a total of 582,960 votes, while his challenger, Stanley Osifo, polled 103 votes.
The exercise was described by party officials as peaceful and well coordinated, with participation from party faithful across the state under the supervision of party electoral committees and security agencies.
The overwhelming result in Imo State adds to a growing list of states where Tinubu has reportedly recorded dominant victories in the ongoing APC presidential primary elections ahead of the 2027 general elections
Political observers say the outcome further reflects the President's strong influence within the APC structure across several states, while party stakeholders continue to monitor the nationwide primary process.
