SOLUDO NAMES FOUR NEW HEADS OF ANAMBRA STATE AGENCIES TO STRENGTHEN GOVERNANCE
Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has approved the immediate appointment of four new heads to steer critical government agencies and parastatals across the state. The announcement was conveyed through an official press statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Christian Aburime, who confirmed that all appointments take effect immediately to maintain administrative momentum and enhance service delivery.
According to the official statement released from the Government House in Awka, the newly appointed officials include Dr. Nelson Omenugha, who serves as the Special Adviser on Youth Reformation, and Dr. Chizoba Prisca Ezeasor, who takes over as the Executive Secretary of the Anambra State Primary Health Care Development Agency. The governor also appointed Hon. Chike Anyaonu as the Managing Director of the Anambra State Housing Development Corporation, alongside Mr. Chris Osemedua Molokwu, who assumes the role of Managing Director at the Anambra Broadcasting Corporation.
Extending his congratulations to the newly inaugurated heads, Governor Soludo charged them to bring their wealth of professional expertise, leadership experience, and technical capacity to bear in their respective administrative domains. He emphasized that public office under his administration remains a strict call to rigorous duty, prudence, and accountability rather than personal celebration, reminding the appointees of the high expectations placed upon them by the citizens of Anambra State.
The governor further admonished the new agency heads to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, dedication, and integrity while discharging their statutory functions. He reiterated his administration's unwavering commitment to repositioning state parastatals into efficient, result-oriented bodies capable of driving sustainable economic growth, urban development, healthcare access, and youth empowerment across the state.
