The Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC), Professor Nnanyelugo Ike-Muonso, has been double-honoured by Aljazirah Media Group for his contributions to public service and the transformation of Nigeria’s raw materials ecosystem.

Presented by a delegation led by the Group Chief Executive Officer of Aljazirah Media Group, Dr. Etuk Bassey Williams, at the Council’s headquarters in Abuja, the recognition formed part of the media organization's 2025 Award Series. Ike-Muonso was conferred with the titles of Public Servant of the Year and Government Agency of the Year for 2024/2025, celebrating the reforms and strategic direction implemented under his leadership to encourage local value addition, support industrialization, and enhance national economic competitiveness. Dr. Williams congratulated the RMRDC leadership and noted that effective public stewardship is defined by turning responsibility into measurable, lasting value.

The 2025 Aljazirah Personality of the Year Awards list also celebrated an array of prominent leaders across governance, public administration, and entrepreneurship:

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led the national honours list for his administrative leadership.
