RECLAIMING VISION: CHIEF KINGSLEY NWEKE DETAILS MULTI-BILLION NAIRA FILM VILLAGE AND AGRO-ALLIED INVESTMENTS ON THE VAR PODCAST
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Enugu East Senatorial District, Chief Dr. Nweke Kingsley Chizoba, widely known as Odaa Opuo, has offered a candid look into his developmental initiatives during an interview on The VAR Podcast.
During the broadcast, Chief Nweke addressed the state of his landmark private investments across Enugu East, confirming that he personally secured 2,000 plots of land dedicated to establishing the Enugu Film Village, along with an additional 1,500 plots acquired at Neke Uno specifically designated for large-scale agricultural operations and agro-allied processing.
Reflecting on the operational challenges that have stalled progress on these facilities, the senatorial hopeful emphasized that his primary motivation for entering public service is to create an enabling legal and administrative environment for private capital to thrive across the state. He noted that projects of this scale—capable of generating thousands of direct jobs for creative youths and rural farming communities—require supportive governance rather than bureaucratic bottlenecks.
Chief Nweke expressed firm confidence that despite existing challenges, both the Enugu Film Village and the Neke Uno agricultural complexes will be fully realized. He reiterated that his campaign for the Enugu East Senatorial seat in 2027 remains anchored on turning personal vision into public results, protecting local enterprise, and ensuring that grassroots economic development takes precedence over political posturing.
