PDP Stakeholders and Media Groups Commend Enugu Leadership Over Suspension of Chief Samson Chukwu Nnamani
Stakeholders, ward executives, and affiliated media groups of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State have expressed strong support for the party's decision to suspend Chief Samson Chukwu Nnamani (Odera) over alleged anti-party activities and internal misconduct.
In separate reactions and statements, groups including Falcon Media, the Lion Building Media Team for Nwakabie, and ward stakeholders from PDP Akpugo Ward 3 commended the leadership of the party for what they described as a decisive and timely intervention to preserve unity and discipline within the party structure.
According to the reactions, the suspension was necessary to reinforce party supremacy and ensure that no individual ambition overrides the collective interest of the PDP, especially as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The PDP Akpugo Ward 3 leadership, in a signed statement by Nnaji Ikenna Cletus (Ward Chairman) and Nwodo Emeka Daniel (Ward Secretary), described the action as "a step in the right direction," stressing that it reaffirms discipline and respect for party authority.
The statement further urged members of the party to remain united, loyal, and committed to strengthening the PDP's structure ahead of the upcoming governorship and general elections.
Stakeholders also emphasized that the party leadership's action sends a strong message on internal discipline and the importance of following due process in party affairs.
