PDP Akpugo Ward 3 Dismisses Alleged Suspension Letter Against Chief Uche Nnaji as Fake
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Akpugo Ward 3 in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, has issued a press statement distancing itself from a circulating publication alleging the suspension of Chief Uche Nnaji, popularly known as Nwakaibie.
In the statement dated Sunday, May 24, 2026, the ward leadership described the letter as fabricated, malicious, and the handiwork of individuals allegedly seeking to create confusion and disaffection within the party.
According to the ward executives, the publication did not originate from any recognized organ of the PDP and should therefore be disregarded by party members, supporters, and the general public.
The statement further maintained that Chief Uche Nnaji remains a respected figure within the party and described him as a committed party member whose growing political acceptance across Enugu State continues to attract attention ahead of the 2027 political season.
The ward leadership also reaffirmed its confidence in the party structure and reiterated support for Chief Uche Nnaji, whom it described as a visionary leader committed to the unity, development, and progress of Enugu State.
The statement was signed by the Ward Chairman, Nnaji Ikenna Cletus, and the Ward Secretary, Nwodo Emeka Daniel.
