P-Square and the Script of Destiny: A Reflection on Talent, Brotherhood, and the Price of Division

In the script of destiny, they were supposed to be the greatest pop musicians, even greater than Michael Jackson. Some identical formulas would stand them out:

1. being identical twins handsome on stage,

2. ⁠dancing together in uniformity of choreography.

3. ⁠melody and harmony of their voices

These would be upon them like the hair of Sampson. For the world is unapologetically attracted to beauty, uniformity, good dance, melody and harmony. And when these merge in two identical twins, they become an irresistible charm.

They would have other formulas, but not perculiar to them alone:

4. good voice, both would have it, but one would sing better.

5. ⁠creativity and calisthenics, both would have it, but the other would create better.

Then the time came. And they shone bright as stars! The world shouted in admiration! They beamed in resonance with the script of destiny.

“How do we dislodge them”, a sinister voice asked. Another answered, “attack their unique identical formulas, and they would be like the rest of men”.

Then the attack came. And they lost their hair! The hair of Sampson.

“Can they come back together and continue with destiny’s script?”, I asked.

And the reply came: many heartbreaking things have occurred, they can be weaved together again but with many seams; let them keep singing apart and remain like other men (other singers);

but let them occasionally come together and create one song as PSquare may be once a year or every other year; using their unique identical formulas; and let them take their management away from family.

This way they can shine again as in the script of destiny.
