NYSC RELEASES 2026 BATCH ‘B’ STREAM II DEPLOYMENT, ISSUES COMPULSORY "NERD CLEARANCE" DIRECTIVE AND DISLODGEMENT NOTICE
The Directorate Headquarters of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the official release of deployment prints for Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) mobilized under the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II service year.
Following the release, the scheme issued key operational directives concerning camp venues and mandatory clearance prerequisites to ensure a seamless 21-day orientation exercise.
Mandatory NERD Clearance Certificate
In a critical notice to all prospective corps members, the NYSC management emphasized that obtaining a Nigeria Education Repository and Data Bank (NERD) Clearance Certificate is strictly compulsory for mobilization.
Under the policy directive, PCMs are instructed to process and secure their NERD clearance slips early to avoid disqualification or registration delays at orientation camps nationwide. The management reiterated a zero-tolerance policy, warning that without verified NERD clearance, no candidate will be registered or admitted into NYSC orientation camps.
Lagos State Dislodgement Plan
Due to logistical arrangements and camp capacity considerations, the management confirmed a dislodgement plan for PCMs deployed to Lagos State. PCMs assigned to Lagos will undergo their 21-day orientation course across alternative host camps in neighboring states:
Edo State Camp
Ekiti State Camp
Kwara State Camp
Ondo State Camp
Osun State Camp
Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Dislodgement Plan
A similar dislodgement strategy has been instituted for candidates deployed to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. Selected FCT-deployed corps members have been redirected to hold their orientation exercise in designated neighboring camps:
Benue State Camp
Kaduna State Camp
Kano State Camp
Nasarawa State Camp
The scheme advised all prospective corps members to log in to their official NYSC portal dashboards, print their Call-up Letters and Green Cards, complete their digital clearance procedures, and proceed promptly to their assigned orientation venues.
