NYSC Announces July 7 Commencement Date for 2026 Batch 'B' Stream I Orientation in Niger
The Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has approved Tuesday, July 7, 2026, as the commencement date for the 2026 Batch 'B' Stream I Orientation Course for corps members posted to Niger State.
According to a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the orientation programme will temporarily be held at the NYSC Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Permanent Orientation Camp in Kubwa, Abuja, due to the ongoing renovation of the NYSC Orientation Camp in Paiko by the Niger State Government.
Registration for the orientation exercise will begin on Tuesday, July 7, and end at midnight on Thursday, July 9, 2026.
The Swearing-in Ceremony for the 21-day orientation course is scheduled for Thursday, July 9, while the Closing Ceremony will hold on Monday, July 27, 2026.
The NYSC advised prospective corps members to avoid night travel while proceeding to the orientation camp and wished all participants a safe journey and a successful orientation exercise.
