“My Issues With My Ex Had Nothing to Do With Our Daughter” — Iyabo Ojo Explains Why She Gave Ex-Husband a Prominent Role at Priscilla’s Wedding

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has explained why she deliberately ensured her former husband, Ademidun Ojo, played a significant role during the wedding ceremony of their daughter, Priscilla Ojo.

Speaking during an appearance on The Morayo Show, the actress revealed that she made a conscious decision not to allow the differences between herself and her ex-husband overshadow one of the most important milestones in their daughter's life.

Iyabo Ojo emphasized that while her marriage ended, her former husband remains Priscilla's father, and she believed it was only right for him to be actively involved in the wedding celebration. She noted that parents have a responsibility to separate personal disagreements from their responsibilities toward their children.

According to the actress, she is committed to breaking unhealthy family patterns by ensuring that conflicts between former partners do not negatively impact their children. She stressed that the challenges she experienced with her ex-husband were strictly between them and should never be transferred to their daughter.

"My issues with my ex had nothing to do with our daughter," she stated, adding that her foremost concern has always been Priscilla's happiness, emotional well-being, and the success of her marriage.
