JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Mop-Up Results, Begins Candidate Ranking for Admissions
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the results of the recently conducted 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Mop-Up Exercise.
According to a statement issued by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, candidates who participated in the mop-up examination can now check their results through the Board’s approved result-checking channels.
The examination body disclosed that following the successful completion of the mop-up exercise and the release of the results, it will immediately commence the ranking of candidates, a crucial stage in the admission process.
JAMB further stated that the printing of original UTME result slips required for admission processing is expected to begin before the end of the week.
The Board appreciated the patience, cooperation, and understanding of candidates, parents, and other stakeholders throughout the conduct of the 2026 UTME and the subsequent mop-up examination.
The release of the mop-up results marks another important milestone in the 2026 admission cycle as candidates await the commencement of admission processes into tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
