CHIEF UCHE NNAJI (NWAKABIE) SPONSORS ST. KIZITO FEAST CELEBRATION WITH SUBSTANTIAL FINANCIAL SUPPORT, ADVOCATES YOUTH INDUSTRIALIZATION IN ENUGU
Demonstrating a firm commitment to faith and youth advancement, prominent philanthropist and People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship flag bearer for Enugu State, Chief Uche Nnaji (Nwakabie), provided substantial financial sponsorship for the Feast of St. Kizito celebration and inauguration ceremony hosted by the Catholic Young Men Organization (CYMO), Enugu Diocese, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Emene.
The event, which brought together clergy, community leaders, and young men from across the diocese, featured the official launch of the new Diocesan Ankara Uniform alongside the inauguration of the organization's patrons and patronesses. Chief Uche Nnaji’s major financial backing ensured the success of the celebration, underscoring his dedication to community development and grassroots youth empowerment.
Addressing the congregation during the event, Chief Nnaji called for a fundamental shift in the state's economic trajectory, emphasizing that sustainable development lies in industrialization and self-reliance.
"God’s grace and purpose for Enugu State will move us from consumption to production," Nwakabie declared. "The incoming era must focus on wiping away the tears of our youth by bringing industries, expanding employment opportunities, and ensuring that every young person can contribute meaningfully to the growth of our state."
He further charged members of CYMO and the broader youth constituency in Enugu to align themselves with productive endeavors and remain steadfast in faith, reiterating his continued backing for initiatives aimed at social elevation, unity, and economic progress across the state.
