The Barefoot Renewable Energy College in Kogi State has reached completion and is set to be commissioned today, Tuesday, 4 August 2026, by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Widely regarded as the first institution of its kind in Africa, the college represents a significant milestone in Nigeria's drive toward renewable energy development, innovation, and technical capacity building.
