The endorsement was made during an association meeting where members praised his record of philanthropy, community empowerment, and contributions to human capacity development across various communities.
Speaking on behalf of the association, High Chief Emmanuel Okeke described Chief Dr. Nweke Kingsley Chizoba as a leader whose impact is widely felt beyond political affiliations. He noted that the aspirant has consistently supported individuals, empowered families, and contributed to economic growth through various initiatives.
According to him, the association believes that effective representation requires competence, compassion, and a strong connection to the people, qualities they believe the candidate possesses.
ASPE further stated that the era of unfulfilled promises must give way to practical leadership focused on development outcomes. The group expressed confidence that, if elected, the candidate would prioritize infrastructure development, healthcare improvement, youth empowerment, job creation, and people-oriented legislation.
Members also emphasized the importance of fairness, justice, and inclusive governance, noting that the voices of ordinary citizens must remain central in political representation.
The association commended its outgoing President, High Chief Adimora, for his leadership and contributions to the unity and progress of the organization, while pledging continued support for the new leadership under High Chief Emmanuel Okeke.
In its resolution, ASPE stated that its endorsement reflects the collective aspiration for credible leadership and sustainable development in Enugu East Senatorial District.
